Horizon is shutting down in the middle of December. I have heard from inspectors who have been on that software for years and who now have a calendar date instead of a plan. This note is for you.

I still inspect. I built IntellectSpect because the software never quite kept up with the job — booking in one place, the agreement in another, photos that bloated the report, saves I could not see, and a comment library that would not come with me. What to bring

1. Your Horizon comment wording. On Profile, paste or upload the export. It becomes your comment templates — description, implication, and recommendation — ready to tap into any later finding on web or phone.
2. Your Horizon inspection templates. The same Profile library takes a Horizon export for system tabs and Styles & Materials. Job details on a finished report are ignored.
3. One agreement. Upload yours, or start from a platform template your lawyer can review.
4. Fees, tax region, and how you want clients to pay. Interac e-Transfer is on the request link for Canadian shops. Card goes to your own Stripe account. USD shops can offer ACH. Pay at close is built in.

What you inspect with after you land

• Voice fill on the section you are standing in, and Analyze that drafts a finding from a photo or from stills of a video clip. You edit, then save.
• Saved / Saving / Not saved on every field, photo, and finding — on web and phone.
• A working draft on the phone when signal drops, with an Offline banner, queued voice fills, and sync when you are back.
• No limit on photos. Video on the finding, playable on the client report. No per-clip fee.
• A two-hour email sign-in link for clients and listing agents, plus an agent inbox of released reports. The repair list prints from the same portal, with an optional Est. $ range such as 800-1200.
• WETT credential gating and original WETT PDFs. Report chrome in English, Français, or Español. CAD billing with GST/HST, QST, or PST for Canadian companies; USD with no tax on the subscription for US companies.

What it costs

$139 per inspector per month. The first 20 reports that month are included; every report after 20 is $2. The first three live months are $99 per inspector, and the first live month is unlimited (no $2 overage). AI, photos, video, finance, contracts, payments, scheduling, the public shop, and the phone app are in the seat. Card charges settle to your Stripe account — we bill the seat separately, with no technology fee on the job payment.
